Darkwash is a duo originating from Marblehead, Massachusetts. They are known for experimenting in Electronic as well as Acoustic instrumentation drawing influence from bands like Sonic Youth, Smashing Pumpkins, My Bloody Valentine and The Carousel. Several songs include lyrically charged reverberated vocals, with angelic instrumentation contrasted with a heavy noise guitar riff, as well as atmospheric synthesizers and organs. This particular album is a personal journey through the minds of these musicians through lost loves, depression and drug addiction. Feel free to make any donations to support the artists and label.
